Terms of service

Last updated 19 June 2026 Governing law: Malaysia

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CALACC you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

2. The service

CALACC provides accounting, payroll, statutory filing support and related records for businesses. Features differ by plan, and the plan comparison on the pricing page forms part of these terms.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Keep account credentials secure and do not share them between people.
  • Ensure the data you enter is accurate — the reports and filings are produced from it.
  • Use the service lawfully, and do not attempt to access another company's records.
  • Do not reverse engineer, resell or copy the software except as permitted.

4. Statutory filings remain your responsibility

CALACC computes figures and tracks deadlines, but it is not a substitute for professional advice or for your own review. You remain responsible for what is submitted to LHDN, SSM, EPF, SOCSO or any other authority, and for filing on time.

5. Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed per company, per month, in advance. Trials are offered at no charge for the stated period and convert only if you choose a paid plan. Fees are exclusive of any applicable tax unless stated otherwise.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service available continuously, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance is kept short and, where possible, scheduled outside business hours.

7. Data and backups

Your records belong to your company as described in the privacy policy. The database is backed up on a schedule; you may also export your data while your subscription is active.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or penalties arising from a late filing.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for use that breaches these terms. Where an account is closed, records are retained for the statutory period before deletion.

10. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be notified to the account owner by email before they take effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
